Description

The 40XL2 In-Line Single Check Valve is utilized on potable water applications in both domestic and commercial water systems, including well pump systems and applications where tight seating is required. It is frequently used to prevent discharge in Reduced Pressure Principle Backflow Preventers due to water hammer conditions and inlet pressure fluctuations in water systems. The 402XL2 features 300 grade stainless steel springs for added corrosion-resistance, a maximum working water pressure of 400 WOG, and a maximum working water temperature of 210°F. Other features include threaded end connections and multiple size options.
